4x4 tag along adventure tour Victorian High Country Simpson Desert Birdsville

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING!

We're not one to toot our own horn, but we're pretty proud with the praise Dingo Trax after every tour!

In our books, reviews and testimonials are a big deal. And we're super delighted to share some of them with you so you can be more at ease knowing your hard earned cash is going to be well spent on a Dingo Trax Tag Along Tour...

"Just spent two of the best days touring through the tracks of the Victorian High Country with a overnight stay at Dargo. if - like me - you have very little experience in low range 4x4, John is your man. After a couple of days of expert tutoring, I feel confident to take on any track in this beautiful country. Even if your experienced, this tour won't disappoint. Can't wait to do the huts tour and the Simpson desert. Thanks John."

"For an early birthday present I completed a one day 4WD course with John Clarkson, the founder of Dingo Trax, along with Jeff Lynch. Well what a fantastic day I had. John and Jeff were very friendly and forthcoming with advice, suggestions and information on my Prado and equipment required to assist us touring this great country.

I would not have attempted the tracks, stream and river crossings prior to my Dingo Trax 4WD experience.

Now having come away with the knowledge and confidence gained on that day, I feel I can now navigate these sorts of tracks and river crossing by myself.

The things I learnt about my car and its capabilities will be most valuable to our future travel plans.

It was money well spent and I highly recommend Dingo Trax Tag Along Tours.

My 22 year-old son and I signed up for a one day adventure in the Victorian High Country - Well what a sensational day we had! Driving our own 4WD, we were wanting to learn just what our cars were capable of doing and how to go about handling some serious off road 4WD tracks.

Well learn we did. Many heart in your mouth moments filled our day, leaving us with the exhilaration of success and accomplishment. Never in our wildest dreams would we have ever attempted some of the tracks and river crossings that we did, which by the end of the day just seemed “normal” and “every day”!

More than a dozen river crossings over shifting stones and rocks, with a bow wave of water approaching the top of the bonnet. Seriously, did we ever think we could even attempt this? Not on your life! But we did... and we loved every minute of it!

What a sensational bloke, guide and educator is John. He gave us the reassurance and confidence to tackle tracks that I would not have even considered walking, let alone driving a car through. We can only give our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to John for guiding us through one of the most memorable days I have had in many, many years.

We're looking forward to participating in one of his tag along tours in the desert. A ripping bloke who I’d love to spend more time with in the remote outback. Thanks John and thanks Dingo Trax!

"You’d be hard pressed to find a better bloke to go bush with. John’s good nature - combined with many years of experience, knowledge and practical abilities - make him a great companion and leader on outback expeditions."

With an urge to get off the beaten track - but a lack of knowledge in 4X4 driving, preparation and how to find that magic hidden spot - I turned to Dingo Trax.

John Clarkson is the man of Dingo and without any fuss, John explained the benefits of joining a tag along tour.

Our trip to The Cape, led by the now familiar “Johnny”, is etched to my mind forever, along with meeting a number of Outback newbies and some seasoned bushies enjoying the tag along experience and security of having an experienced man at the front.

For me Dingo Trax is a 5 star show. Just turn up at the starting point for the vehicle orientation safety check and hit the bush.

"I have travelled with John in the Victorian High Country and remote desert regions of Australia. I cannot more highly recommend him as a tour leader.  His knowledge of country - and the history, songs and verse that binds it - provide an extraordinarily rich experience. His good humour, know-how and leadership qualities make his tours safe and exciting adventures.”
